Is that second tune The Commodore? I’ve been working on that tune recently. Nice how you navigate that Fn sequence in the B part.

It’s a version of the Shannon Breeze isn’t it? Or Crossing the Shannon, whatever name it has.
I think you really got into your stride on the second tune and I enjoyed the nice bouncy style at a good steady tempo

I know the first reel as The Funny Reel, and you can hear it in Joe Burke album “The Funny Reel”
I learnt it in a session in Cork city. I don’t know the name of the second one.

I got it from a concertina recording long ago, one of Tommy McMahon and Bernard O Sullivan. They called it the Kilrush Races. O’Neill had it as the Shannon Breeze but it’s more common as Crossing the Shannon or Across the Shannon in Clare. It seems to go around among concertina players a good bit, Jack Talty and Cormac Begley recorded it recently as well.
I always found the h4n to be a great audio recorder. It gives a very flat response which can be coloured in post.
You see a lot of pro and semi pro videographers using these.

Yes Brazenkane, it’s a 4 keys Kennedy model, with my own reed.
