New Flutes

Just got my new Flutes today. A Lew Paxton Price from 1993 in F and a no name Fife in Bb it looks like a sweetheart colonial model in Maple. Haven’t had a chance to play them much because I don’t have any Oil. I played for a second they both sound good.

Enjoy!!!

Now I can post some sort of review: The Flute in E sounds good it uses a OXXXOO C natural and the High A is a little out of tune but that could be because I am not used to the abnomaly small Embochure Hole other wise it has a warm, edgy tone Brighter than a D Flute but harder because of the Hole Size I use Piper’s girp but Finger tips would be fine after it is warmed up it has pretty good response. The Fife for a no name is a real Gem it has a nice bright tone with slight edge the Embouchure is a good size smaller than a D but larger than the E FLute uses finger tips and goes into the thrid register I really think it is an early Sweetheart with no maker’s stamp but I contacted Ralph I will see what he says.

I posted a Pic on the Flute Porn thread.
