Stacey:
Nice looking whistles, why did you have to ruin them with stamping ALBA on them? ![]()
Does anyone have the ABC notation for this rag?
Thanks!

Ah Stacey, you know I just love someone who really loves what theyâre doing.
Sounds really strange over here, but that âCâ makes all the difference in the world.
My little Celtic heart is beating with pride for ye,
Go for the throat,
Itâs the only way,

Let me know if ye Celtic purse actually feels like buying one!

They look nice.
Itâs never about money. When you understand that you will begin to understand us Celtic types.

The blue fipple. I love it.
Staceyâs whistles or the contents of Steweyâs avatar?

Thanks Bill.
Nice to have a bit of respect for a change.
By the way if Dale compared the new Low D to the cosmic drain pipe, thats good enough for me.
After all thats hard to beat.By the way you will never hear of me puting any other makers down,as I think we all have a place in this world.
Even a Mac Haffie. I bet they are going to get real pricey, as if you have not got one in your collection it canât be compleat.
Just a thought.
Whistles for ever

Its so easy to see that Greg has been bought off for a few coins.
Or should I say for a SONG-------- bird.
And we all know that Stacey is at fault here.
But
Yes I hate folk who think its fine to take a pop at me in order to give them selfs a wee bit of fame.
As for StewySmootâs sour grapes! may be you should have a taste,
an BTW you avatar is an insult to the Female sex. please change it. we have younge folk comming to this board and they should not have to see such things ![]()
Stacey:
With all do respect, I believe you are trying (or may I say have) started what you couldnât finish at GC.
There are only two community whistle forums with a large population of folks who buy your instruments and you have already lost one of them (GC) I would almost bet that you very close to being booted or ignored on this one (C&F) also.
In regards to being bought off on coin as you put it with Gregâs statement as it relates to the Songbird. I also reviewed the instrument and as much as I love Chieftains, I would have indicated if it was a bad instrument or needed improvements and I believe by reading all of Gregâs reviews that he would have done the same.
Stacey, at one time or another I have owned every instrument you have placed on the market and I feel that they are gorgeous instruments with a great sound (I do apologize for the inappropriate comment I made earlier in the thread) and although I no longer own any and I perfer another I can assure you was a choice I made years ago before I ever tested a instrument out for Phil (actually the Songbird is the only whistle I have ever officially tested for him).
In regards to Stewyâs pic. I have seen worse by you in regards to avatar.
The bottom line is that the difference between a Chieftain/Kerry and an ALBA is the sound and there are folks which prefer ALBAâs and those who prefer Chieftain/Kerryâs.
So can we drop the accusations and start building some instruments! ![]()
Just got that one. Geez, Iâm slowâŠ
It took me awhile tooâif JessieD hadnât commented I might not have given it much thought but then I realized it sounded strange and in the US you just wouldnât name something that everânot even with the âCâ I donât think. But I did a search and the term is used a lot in other places that donât have the same history we do but have other history where it is a good word. Itâs just too bad that âCâ and âKâ are pronounced the same way.

Hey Stacey,
I donât have an Alba or that, er, other Alba, but I think I see the problem. You have a mutant sense of humor
which requires a mutant cerebellum to perceive properly. I found your post extremely funny (I usually do!),
but I fear others may misinterpret & see your wit & sarcasm as mean-spirited! ![]()
Donât let the critics get you down! You do have fans, and not just your whistles! ![]()
