Mike Rafferty’s new solo CD, entitled “Speed 78,” is available this week. This recording features Mike playing the flute, uilleann pipes and telling a few old stories. Special guests include: Joe Madden, Willie Kelly, and Felix Dolan. His daughter Mary & guitarist Dónal Clancy join him as well. He just turned “Speed 78” a few months ago. He looks younger now than
in the photo on the Dangerous Reel cd of 1995!

This is great to know – thanks for posting it! I saw him, his daughter Mary, and her husband Donal Clancy in concert a couple of months ago, and they were fantastic.
