New avatar

The avatar I am using was of me on holiday in France in 1714.
I popped into a while- vouz - wait tapestry booth and this is what came out for 6 sou !
I had to wait another century for Nicholson’s book to correct the position of my right hand !

Great avatar Andrew! Who knew you were a cross dresser… :stuck_out_tongue:

Cathy - Your new avatar is a dead ringer (no pun intended) for my parents now deceased dog…it makes me miss old Mattie!

Eric

That was my Greek God on tour outfit.
You would have been cross if you had to wear it !
( Like the hat ? )

The hat definitely makes the outfit!

I like the scarf; very Isadora-Duncan-like. Don’t ride in any convertibles with it, OK?

Jay, the avatar would be my little cattle dog Polly (aka “****it, Polly!”. She’s a foundling; Mattie didn’t happen to wander off, did she? (just doing my civic duty)

I know what you mean – I was at a shelter the other day and saw a cat who was almost an exact ringer for my dearly departed Mulligan. It’s good to think of them but heart-breaking, too … :frowning:

Anyhoo, if it causes pain let me know and I’ll put a picture of one of my horses up or something.

I am afraid that I only have convertible cars.
I do have a new outfit though.
If Graham ever feels like putting a bigger picture up by popular appeal one of you experts might be able to comment on the period of the dress, and the sloppy fingering.

Cathy - Mattie was a foundling. An australian cattle dog mix, she was left at our local vet’s office…we had to nurse her with a bottle because she was too young to be weaned. She was also a certified nut of a dog!

Eric

It would only be in Australia I imagine that people would cross cattle with dogs, Jayhawk !

Don’t forget the australian in the mix, too, Andrew - looked like something out of Greek mythology!

I had heard the rumours, but didn’t like to spread them.
You have to be very careful crossing a Digger !
