Does any one of you has further information on when and where Mikey Smith will publish his first solo CD “The wild geese”? It was mentioned on RTE Radio 1’s The Late Session from 05/07/10 that this CD should come to market soon.

There will als obe a special 20th anniversary CD in a limited edition with Tionol guest fro mthe past, including Eugene Lambe, Mick O Brien, Leo Rickard, Brian Mac, Tommy Keane and lots more (yeah yeah :roll: ). Five Tommy Reck tracks included.
Me! Me! Pick me! I want a copy of that! How would I get one? (other than travelling to the other side of the globe).
A friend who came back from this summer’s Willie week was telling me about listening to Leo Rickard live. He said that he was bowled over by Leo’s sheer musicality, and that none of his true skill comes across on Leo’s one CD.

It’s supposed to be ready by the end of the month. Some fecker still has to send the pictures for the inside cover. 
I suppose they’ll advertise it some way or other, I have the tracklisting somewhere, Browne is on it too, Pat Broderick, Brian Gallaher, Nollaig Mac. A collection of private recordings done over the years, don’t expect studio quality or anything.

I am not doing that CD, my input is minimal.
No … just about 1800 km from up here in Northern Sweden. 
Stupid big country … 
But even then I couldn’t come as we will move our stuff from Finland to Sweden those days. Somehow this year nothing works out fine …
