The condo wall thread got me thinking about narrow bores, and specifically about Hoovers vs. Burkes. Has anyone tried both? Care to comment on the similarities and differences?

The Burke is about the size of a Gen D and close to that in volume as well. The Hoover is very, very, very narrow, and it’s so quiet that someone in the next room of your own condo won’t hear it. It’s so breath sensitive that when you first get it you’ll try to hit the second octave but will actually hit the third repeatedly until you get used it. It has a very sweet tone, too.
