Name These Tunes

Hay Everyone

Can you please name these tunes for me. It is the ‘Duelling Irish Pipers’ clip which has some wonderful harmony in it. I have a friend who is an experienced piper and we don’t mind experimenting with the tradition (within limits of course). It’d be great to try this set out next time we meet up.

I know the first slip jig is The Drops of Brandy.

Out of interest do you know the pipers. I think one of them is Leo Rickard who seems to be struggeling with a major leak somewhere. I’d guess that the bellows flap valve is leaky.

The group is Sean Nua, and this is the same set as Track 3 of their album The Open Door. So the pipers are Joe McHugh and Joe McKenna, and that’s Antoinette McKenna on harp and Gerry O’Donnell on whistle.
