Name these tunes?

Here are 4 tunes I recorded the instructor playing during lessons I had at Willie Clancy summer school a few weeks back (REALLY great time, BTW…) – I was not wise enough to write down the names. Could anyone name them for me?
Thanks-
Dave Jones

Only listened to the first few bars each but I’d think :

Old Tipperary
The Kilfrush
The Farting Badger (also: Tommy Peoples’)
Not sure about the last one

Is that Leo?

PD.

Is that Leo?

The player? No, the recorded instructor was Seamus O Rochain.

I met Seamus twice, last year at the Belgian tionol notably. Great player indeed ! Did he play the set which belonged to Clancy ?

He played it for us the last lesson. I enjoyed his teaching very much.

Thanks for the titles, Peter Laban! I appreciate it.

For the rest: Still hoping someone can give me a title for this one:

Kilcooley Woods

Track 9 on The Rowsome Tradition/Kevin Rowsome

You’re right. I didn’t recognise it immediately from the first few bars although it sounded a bit familiar, just couldn’t place it. Kilcooley Woods is a hornpipe composed by Sean Ryan.

DGGA BDcD BDAF G would be the original opening phrase

That’s it! Yes! Thanks a million! Now when asked I don’t have to say I’m playing “number 8”.

You can hear “Kilcooley Woods” on Brian McNamara’s last cd and on Kevin Rowsome’s cd as well. Two very nice versions.

Brian’s CD, Fort of the Jewels, in my humble opinion is a must have for everybody’s piping library. Eloquent piping! And the duets with Benedict Koehler (tracks 7 and 13) are simply beautiful. Some of the greatest piping yet recorded.

Have I mentioned I like this CD yet?
