Any of you folks going to Armagh for the William Kennedy Pipe Festival? I won’t be there but my new three keyed D chanter will be..
Please look Martin Preshaw up, he’ll have the chanter with him there before he ships it to me here in the US….I have been of fan of the Preshaw Chanter since starting the pipes some four years ago. I have listened to many other chanters and humbley say Martins’ work is up there with great pipemakers of our day. So if anyone wants to grab the stick and give it spin to see for yourself…just ask “My favorite Martin”.
I would love to hear any feedback.

Martin made a reed for my Preshaw chanter at the SoCal tionol ths last October and it has played through our Santana wind (dry, humidity hovers around 20%) with a minumum of difficulty.
