I don’t believe I’ve ever been to a funeral where a member of the family spoke. It must be terribly difficult.

I remember reading “Boys from Brazil” back when and really enjoying it. Your uncle surely was a fine writer and the world is richer for his contribution and poorer for his passing.

I first saw the movie, ‘Rosemary’s Baby’, as a teenager. We had just taken a French foreign exchange student into the house, and brought her along. As a 15-year-old, I was pretty shocked, and she found that amusing. Such were the cultural differences then.
Ira was a very progressive thinker, and a good man. America really never caught on, unfortunately.
