Hi folks- I have a lovely blackwood Casey Burns with tuning slide and silver rings for sale. It’s a beautiful flute to play and I was hoping to have keys added. Infortunately, my daughter came close to losing my handmade Kilpatrick (a Boehm) this spring so I need to buy something for her that won’t cause a lot of grief if lost. Heaven knows we have enough other things to quibble about (clothes, hair, driving). BTW, that’s NOT her in my avatar- sigh! The price of the Burns is now $600 OR if you have a nice open-hole Boehm with B-foot languishing in your collection, let’s talk about a trade- after all, it’s not the money I’m after. I’m looking for something with at least a sterling headjoint and all pads in good condition. Brands that come to mind that might sell used in this range are Gemeinhart, Armstrong, Yamaha but I’m open-minded…
