More WhOA...

My newest acquisitions: Clarke original in C, Megs in C and D. Also a multi-whistle pouch! and the little Pocket tunebook for $0.90.

Thanks for your input, Blackbeer and mitchlr!

Robin

Hey Robin see how that postage helps to add things to your order. How does your Clarke C sound. Mine was just real bad. And now I have tweaded it into oblivion.

PS But my D is a great whistle

Oops, that’s a Clarke original in D…

Well, I just ordered them last night, so I’m waiting with baited breath. I guess I shouldn’t say that I went over into the next postage unit…doh!

I hope they don’t need too much tweaking. I think I might have killed the 2-piece Clare with “gentle sanding”, but I still haven’t taken the head off to fill it with sticky tack (don’t ask). If one doesn’t have beeswax, would one use teflon tape or rubber cement or something to put the head back on?

I use joint grease. You still want to be able to adjust the fipple when your done tweaking. You shouldn`t have to do much if anything to the Clarke. In fact I try to keep my tweaking mind on just playing the whistle for a couple of weeks to make sure its not me that needs tweaking.
