Sweet! I am like so totally there dude!

P-Diddley.

ME TOOOO!!!

Funny thing happened today. I put the Mikie Smyth recordings from the Dutch Uilleann pipers website onto my MP3 player, and well, one thing happened or another and now I have Mikie playing not his Wooff C# set, but a Wooff G set. I must say it sounds truly awesome. Now that would be a big bundle of sticks.

You lucky so and sos!
Not only is Mikie an amazing piper and teacher, he is also a genuinly nice guy…funny too! Guys if you have the chance go there, if you dont have the chance lie, steal and cheat to get there !

You know LA doesn’t feel so far from Japan right now

PD.

I think Mikie Smyth was the guy at Willie Week last year who kept making fun of me and Nicola cause we couldn’t understand his accent. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d love to be there for the workshop…keep us updated.

Justine

Can’t wait, I will me there.

Hmmm…now that I saw his picture on Patrick’s site, I realize it’s an entirely different guy. So who was that piper making fun of me???

I figured it out…Mickey DUNNE.

OH! 2Ns, 1E

Sup Youghal? Don’t forget now!

Padge.

bibitty bobitty BUMP!

Howe’s 1000 Jigs and Reels has a tune called “Lurry Dunn’s Reel.” Appropriately enough, it’s in the key of…E. E major.
Larry doesn’t look at all Byzantine like his avatar, he’s kinda baby-faced. He’d look good in a pinstripe suit, holding a Tommy gun. Give us a jig, Dollface!

Kevin- do you have the dot’s for that?? We could play it for Larry

New avatar, just for you Kevin! (Lester Gillis, aka “Babyface Nelson”)

Larry

“Don’t call me Babyface!!”

I like the avatar, Larry.

Justine

Does that mean you drive around in an old '36 Chevy Master 4-door? If so, two things, I’m looking foward to getting a ride, and do I get a tommygun?

Yes, though it’s cleverly disguised as a Subaru Forester.

I can give you a lift, but a ride is out of the question. We’ll see what we can do about the tommygun.

Larry

Here’s a teaser clip from my recording of last night’s concert at Gabriel’s:
