Meet your Maker !

How about a series of photos showing makers so we can recognise them at Tionals, Willie week etc.

I remember a story of Eugene Lambe meeting a customer in the street during the Willie week. He turned around and ran.

Don’t you think these weeks aren’t stressful enough for makers (and pipers) as it is?

Let’s make it interesting … how about compromising photos of your pipemaker :smiling_imp:

Hehe, I have more than a few of those

If this set looks familiar, here’s why…

Thanks to the lads at GNIPC for this image.

Yes, the eyebrows are always a dead giveaway!

…ouch! Did you HAVE to pick that pose…

that’s such a cool photo, Paul. you get a kudos point.

Thanks - definitely more where that came from! Here is one of my makers  and a brilliant human he is.

… need you even ask… :stuck_out_tongue:

Oops, different Maker. Never mind…

Paul- is that a 4x5 negative mask done digitally? Or did you shoot that with a real 4x5?

It’s the real deal - I’m no faker. I use a Horseman that I’ve had for about 16 years. It’s a big pain in the tushy to haul it around half of the world, but there’s nothing like it in digital land. Just wish I had the courage to roadrun with an 8x10".

This was submitted to me with with two questions:

1). Who is this pipemaker?

and…

2). Who took this photograph?

..your a darn good photographer Paul..! You’ve got a good eye. I’ve enjoyed all of your pics I’ve seen over the last few years.

Thanks Davey! Appreciate the compliment.

Joe McKenna?

Nope, but thank you for playing.
