i’ve been playing my McHaffie high D for about 2 months now and i have come to realize that it is the finest sounding whistle i own. it is of very even volume in both registers and has the "wholness"of tonal quality that i’ve been looking for.
the adjustable volume worked out very well once i scribed a mark as to where it should be for optimal volume and tone(used as a point to return to).
i only wish i had orderd a C tube to go with it.i am thinking of ordering this and one of his low whistles in the near future.
