I know Mike McGoldrick plays a newer-model Grinter D, but on the past few albums of his I’ve heard him playing in all these other keys - does anyone know who made 'em? Grinter? Lehart?
I’m pretty sure the F is a bamboo flute by Chris Dawson (Rhiannon flutes); at least that’s what he used to play. No idea about the others.
At the Moment hes playing Eb, D, C, Bb Grinters (Wired, At First Light, Upside down, from what I have). On Fused and Morning Rory, I think he played LeHart flutes. His Bamboo F is by Chris Dawson. He also has “a house full of flutes by everyone”, from what he said at Cambridge Folkie.
