looking for a teacher..

hello,

i’m interested in learning to play irish flute. i have been playing highland pipes for about 20 yrs. since my son was born, i haven’t had time to practice and looking for different intrument. thought about UP.. but, i think i want something that will take less work keeping the instrument, and more time playing the instrument.

been playing with whistle for last few months, and saving some money for wooden flute.

is there any teacher or a good player who could help in durham/raleigh/CH area of north carolina?

regards,
peter kim

You might contact Andra Bohnet (abohnet@jaguar1.usouthal.edu). She’s a professional fluter at a university down south - not NC - but has a lot of contacts. She teaches woodenflute at the Healy WindOnTheBay seminars also, but that’s another story.
