People who used a mail truck to escape the flooded areas of New Orleans East are forced to lie on the highway. August 31, 2005. The people were freed but forced to continue on foot. REUTERS/Rick

and this while thousands of cars are flooded. the law draws a hard line.
they had no intention to sell that mailtruck or anything, they just used it to get out.
why are those people forced to continue on foot?
they are free now, but where’re they suppose to go? no homes, money, work, food,…

the police just follow orders i suppose, but i wouldn’t like the be a policeman…

i’d say that’s just a small example of what’s going on.
let’s hope they’ll get rescued anyway.
