Learning whistle in the UK

In the middle of England (Milton Keynes) is a center dedicated to teaching ‘roots’ acoustic instruments. It’s not free, but not far short of it and it’s non-profit making. We call it ‘Roots School’.
We specialise in three instruments of which Penny Whistle is one.
We focus on CEPSS - no not mushrooms, Cuts, Emphasis, Pats, Slides and Slurs, and we aim to help players develop their own style rather than play by rote.
If you live near us, or are just visiting the area - pop in and spend some time with our players. We have two very good tutors, both with traditional backgrounds. We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.

See ya there

I was intrigued by the list of tune names for learning on the website, are they mainly English and Scottish?

Och, more than that in being a proper eclectic mishmash, Mark. But you know I might regard ‘Jamie Allen’ as high priority if I could do this with it!
