Have you ever tried to work out a fast reel played by someone like mary bergin but not quite been able to figure out exacctly what notes shes playing? I know i have, but ive found a free bit of softwear on the uilleann pipe forum called “the amazing slowdowner”(they obviosly hav`nt put too much polish on the title of their softwear). It allows you to slow down the speed of a tune by 400% without changing the pitch of the notes. You can also seperatly alter the pitch of the tune so as to fine tune it to your whistle or whatever instrument your playing.

if you’re trying to learn tunes from a recording done by Mary Bergin, you don’t need software, you need mental help. 
And if you succeed, I want to know how

Hi, I have the software, but maybe a slightly different type by ronimusic also? It’s called the amazing slow cd transcriber. It’s absolutley changed and improved my playing, especially after I had to quit taking lessons weekly. And yes, I can now learn Mary Bergin tunes. lol Good luck!
There’s also a program called Transcribe, which is available for Macs, too. The non-demo version is something like 30-40 bucks, and well worth it IMO.
The Amazing Slowdowner is available for mac’s too.
