What was funny was when they did bottom D. Chanters would come up, and miss hitting each other in the face as an after thought.

That is totally wild. I would have loved to hear how it all turned out. In my Warpipe Band, Inis Fada - we had to strong pipers do the same . I believe the tune was Mason’s Apron. That was an occation I’ll never forget.

Actually, with whistles, I think the conjoint playing is rather easy - we did it in school concert and it went fine (both ways - with one hand on yours, and both hands on his). But the octopus jig seems rather difficult I guess

Its definitely workable, just need to remember to work the bellows, I kept starving poor Pat of air! Next time I’ll bring my videocam.
