I would especially like to play “annies song” and “sunshine on my shoulders”, what do I need to make this playable on whistle?

Ah, BrassBlower? Think you could toss a few of those my way? I always figured I was probably the only one here with the guilty secret of liking John Denver’s stuff.
Great suggestion Chuck_Clark, wadda bout it Brass Blower, post the ABC’s here for all of us. I have always liked John Denver’s music.

No way, Chuck! There’s more of us than you think. John Denver rocks! Actually, if you read back over his career, you’ll find that there must have been a great many folks that enjoyed him, his music or both. Either that or one guy who bought millions of his records.
I’ve been a John Denver fan for many years (though I’d never thought about trying to play his music on the whistle before… hmm…). It’s a shame he died just as he was making a bit of a comeback. The “Wildlife Concert” was some of his best work in a long time.
But, then, my musical tastes cover a wide range, from Beethoven to Micho Russell to Dolly Parton to Jethro Tull to… (Though I must admit I just don’t get rap or hip-hop.)

Sorry, no John Denver for me but this thread did induce me to knock out a couple of George Jones tunes. Sounded a bit weird on whistle but they were fun.
