The guy who sold it didnt know much of concertinas, but made a genius move. He had it restored by none other than Colin Dipper. It pretty much doubled it’s value on the spot.
I had an opportunity to try the instrument this past Sunday, its a real beauty and quite a powerhouse.
Does a new Dipper cost that much now? I thought it was in the $5,000-$6,000 range back when Emily bought hers (2003ish).
