Az, is that forecast for Montreal or Nunavit? And here we’re complaining about it getting down into the teens (Fahrenheit) tonight!

Welcome home Azalin! It is balmy here in Windsor compared to Montreal and I can still green grass.

-11°C = 12.2°F
-14°C = 6.8°F
-17°C = 1.4°F
feels like -22°C = feels like -7.6°F
Hey Mark, green grass in Windsor? Gee!
Well, if you think Montreal is cold, here’s a town in Nunavut, I’m not sure how much is -54°C in °F, but it ain’t Florida ![]()

I can’t remember if it’s ((celsius degrees)*9/5) + 32 or ((celsius degrees+32)*5/9) or (pi * (celsius degress)^2), so it’s either -65 degrees or -12.222222222 or 9156.24.
Hope this helps.
It’s supposed to get down to -10C (14F) here tomorrow night. I’ve done my time in the Great White North (of the US), and there’s a reason I moved south of the Mason-Dixon line. SO IT WON’T GET THIS DAMN COLD, at least in mid-December!!! It’s below freezing out now, plus there’s a pretty stiff breeze.
I’ll look on the bright side, though. The days will be getting longer in a week. Oh, yeah, and there’s that 8-key Grinter I ordered for my wife two Christmases ago. It should be here in a few days.
Unfortunately, I don’t see myself getting any playing time on it during the break-in period.
It’s supposed to be in the low twenties in Atlanta tonight. I guess convertible season is officially over.
I’d say so…I’m freezing, Paul!! 25 degrees and it’s 9:30 in the morning–gads!!

It’s 13 celsius out, sunny and without wind for a change.
Munster: Variable cloud today; risk of a shower or patchy drizzle, mainly in the west. Highs 10-13C (50-55F). From midnight to 6 a.m., risk of drizzle or a shower. Lows 6-9C (43-48F).

-54 celsius is -65 farenheight. The formulas are-
Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit
Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32); Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit
The way that I do the conversion though, is-

Last night, in my little corner of Central Florida, it got down to 30f (-1.1c). Pretty cold for around these here parts, but it can and does get cooler. ![]()
If you don’t like the cold, come here. It’s only now just sort of starting to feel like winter. We didn’t really have a fall this year. O.o
Twas a balmy 16F this AM when I left for work.
22F (-5.5C) when I left this morning. Almost enough to make me glad to arrive at work, just because it’s warmer!
Of course the easiest temperature to do the Celcius → Fahrenheit conversion (or the reverse) is -40 degrees. -40 C = -40 F! Luckily, I’ve never actually experienced that particular temperature except reaching into some scientific freezers (some of which are kept at -70C or -80C).

-40 (c/f) was a pretty typical temp, growing up in Duluth Minnesota.

Once, about 13 years ago, we dropped to -40 with wind chills in the -60 range. That was sooooo cold. I had to work on my car. I’d be out for about 20 minutes and back in to warm up for 40. Ugh.
