I"m feeling your pain, it’s down to 35F this morning! Brrrr.
We thought about moving up north when I lost my job year before last, however my wife, who grew up in the foothills of the Himalayas, has no desire to be cold ever again.

We’re 22 here…but luckly, no humidity or wind chill! I’m used to 25 feeling like 15. This morning, I went out and it didn’t feel that chilly at all! I had to check the thermometer to make sure it was as cold as weather.com said it was.
Having gotten a new Senseo coffee maker last night and making a steaming mug of vanilla mocha didn’t hurt any this morning either.
car thermometer said 12, supposedly wind chill makes is feel like 0F.
I don’t care if I’m supposed to be used to this or not, IT’S COLD!!!
It was 5F here yesterday morning, coldest so far this winter, and the high was about 15F. It’s 11F this morning and it may get up into the 30’s, so I think it’s gonna be a short cold snap. The news said up in the 40’s this weekend, so my kitties will be happy. For now, it’s definitely time for long underwear and wool socks!
I do like winter, but:
Please send pictures of your kitties in long underwear and wool socks.

Ferrets love long sleeve sweaters, particularly if you’re still wearing them.
They love to crawl inside the sleeve and then let their head hang out below your hand.
They enjoy them tremendously and, if you let them, they’ll stay in there for quite some time.

9 degrees here in Massachusets. Wind chill feels like -7. That is all I am going to say.

Actually quite a nice day…but, this is California..
0 degrees F here this morning… and still… makes the woodpile shrink in a hurry!
Gee, it was 36 degrees F. and raining here this morning. I’ll trade you for the 12! We are normally snowed in most of the winter, and it just hasn’t had a chance to build up yet. Weird.
I wish you courage and some good warm beverages. Have a cocoa!
