Just spotted on eBay (from one of the regular dealers, most of whose stuff is perfectly acceptable, and I doubt he’s personally responsible for this…) - is this the ultimate “Frankenflute”?
And it actually has a bidder at U$399.. Oh dear. 
That is pretty wild. Think that is Franken-Ivory down at the bottom?

Does the bidder know something we don’t ? When I saw this one at that opening price, I remember thinking " Good Luck With That ! "
Should be interesting to see how it pans out.
Wow! Reminds me of a “metal headjoint / boehm bore / Giorgi headjoint” experimentation faze I went through. When you start getting into it, you can come up with some sinfully ugly instruments.
Thankfully I’ve since seen the error of my ways.
