hello! I’m new here… and i’ve been reading around… i’m a bit jealous 'coz all of ya seems to have whistles to talk about. I read somewhere here that beginners should start on a D, but I like the Generation Bb, and Is there anyone here who could give one to me (brass or nickel - it doesn’t matter) even if it’s used. I wish I could order online like on the whistle shop, but my student credit card is not allowed for international purchases… and I’m on a place where there’s no whistles available. Please send me a PM or just post a reply… this is very important to me. thanks!!!

If you’re really a beginner, I would definitely suggest a D whistle so you can follow along with one of the excellent whistle tutors available out there. YOu can still get that Bb to fool around with, but if you want to listen to the lessons on a tutorial CD and follow along, you will need a D.

How about you send a check to an online whistle store for the whistle + shipping?
I think they might be willing to work with you.

thanks for that, they quoted me their prices range and to have a delivery like from Ireland, money transfer is like “quadruple” of the amount I am about to send, it surely knocked me off… and kept me on thinking… gosh
