Sure, of course. Half-hole R2. Easy peasy.
On some instruments you might be able to cross-finger xxxoxx in the 2nd octave if you lip it down.
Finger E XXX XXO and then roll the right hand middle finger slightly to the left to open up a little bit of the 5th hole - essentially half holing that hole. It will take a while to get the hang of this - but eventually you will get it. Usually the 5th hole is too large to use the Baroque cross fingering XXX X0X.
get up and go for a beer when the tune with the F is played…no worries 
agreed r2 half hole, ya gotta work at it for awhile to get it clean
