Has anyone played the dixon low D/flute? thinking of getting it, because well 2 in 1, any comments? is it good? bad?

Hi Tia,

The DixonFLute/low D combo is not bad value for what you pay. The body has the typical Dixon easy-play finger spacing and does not sound too bad. There is some question about whether the chimney on the flute embouchure is deep enough to produce a decent result - it will play, but maybe a bit more difficult than a more up-market flute.
