Walton 18" Bodhran – This is an excellent quality beginner bodhran made in Ireland with a quality goat-skin, and hardwood tipper. The tipper has a notch to help keep it from slipping out of your hand, and has double-ends for solid triplets. This skin is curved over the frame and tacked down with a wood band and brass tacks. The edges are smooth (curved) and well finished. The crossbars are smooth and allow hand movement or bracing. For more info, pictures, sound clips: http://members.cox.net/928572663/walton.html
