indian/pakistani made wood flutes are they any good?

Is ā€œwrestling the octopusā€ a term pipers use to describe playing their instrument?

<Honest, I learn sooo much from this list . . . >

Look up in the right hand corner of your post. Do you see a little ā€œxā€ in a box? You can delete the post by clicking that box.

Not that you have to, of course. We don’t mind. :wink:

Thank you Peggy. I found how to edit a post but do not see anything that would let me delete it.

Hey WhistlinBob,

If you want a Pakistanie flute, I’ll sell ya the ā€œCream de la Cremā€ (sorry never took French in High School) :smiley: . I’ve got a ā€œCocas Flute with tuning slideā€. I’ll send it to ya for $20 :moreevil: . This is my third (Pak-Flute), what can I say I’m an Optimist (ie. a fool and his $$$) :stuck_out_tongue: . This is the finale of Pak-Flutes for me (Three Strikes).

I am conservative and the flute is visually appealing. But, I condemn it, as a waste of resources.

I guess, I do have an opinion on this subject after all!

Sillydill thanks but no thanks I’ll save my money for some
cpvc pipe in the appropriate size and make my own for 20$
I can probably make about 5 or 6 flutes.

Dear WhistlinBob,

I’ve also turned my hand at making plumber’s flutes…IT AIN’T EASY! I’ve even tried Tipple’s own recipe. It’s educational to make your own flutes, but I wouldn’t count on makin a ā€œgood oneā€.

What Tipple and every other good flute maker does is a bit of MAGIC!!!

Good Luck and Make Lots of Music!!!

Yes. That’s when we’re in a good mood.
