In honor of my 700th post...

I know, I know. It isn’t something huge like a 1000th post and being welcomed into the F.P. lounge by Walden…but I’m getting closer! I’ve been in the 600’s for a long time. Brewerpaul can start carving my key now so it’ll be ready. :smiley:

So, does anyone want to have a “700 posts” party? :party: Write a commemorative poem or tune? Or, better yet, send me your Elfsongs? :smiling_imp: (I wouldn’t say no to any other nice whistles either :laughing: )

I passed 700 posts a bit ago, without fanfare. You’re right to have a party, Cees. These milestones in our lives should be celebrated with friends and not allowed to slink by unnoticed. I remember well the first time you and I got together for tunes and brownies with BrianLee, WyoBadger, Avanutria, and a person who shall not be named. Definitely a turning point in my life.

Congratulations - and may no unfeeling person knock your whistles off their pedestal. :wink:

I’m here to tell ya, posting milestones do not equal free whistles in the mail. Otherwise I’d have a pile of 'em.

Actually, the kids have left the “whistle stand” alone for a while, so they haven’t gone crashing to the floor in a long time. :laughing:

Well, I have to admit, I don’t think she’s drop-dead beautiful in very many spots in the LOTR movies…but this picture is from the “Return of the King” picture gallery on the official site and I really liked it (lordoftherings.net); I thought she was really pretty in it. Also, since I never knew how to make an avatar, I fiddled with it for two hours the other night and finally got it to fit the size requirements…but I had to stretch out her face just a tiny bit wider to get it to work right. In the actual picture, her face is a little bit thinner. So maybe that’s why it threw you off.
