All chatters know that I hold a particular fondness for susnfx, and I think I still keep a little faded post-it note somewhere, signed by Alan, except I can’t find it right now even though I was sure I had stuck it in that tin with the tackle and bait. I bet I could find it if I really looked, I guess, but anyway that’s not the point.

I am sure I’ve read most if not all of them, and I’ve always read them with keen interest. You have delighted and amused me. I have grown as a person and have learned soooo much from your participation on the board that now I can say with confidence: On the whole, your spelling is really remarkably good, Susan.

Bloo, I have MY yellow post-it framed in a Victorian curly-q frame and it’s nearly worn out from looking at it. And you put yours in a tackle box. sigh Men.

“Don’t sweat the small stuff” is my motto, and “forgive and forget.” Wouldn’t dream of quibbling of little things, or this or that, and I won’t even mention the time back in November 2002 when you read my new issue of BATMAN even though I had TOLD you NEVER to touch my comics before I have read them and you PROMISED, and then you even tried to lie about it and say that you had only moved to the table, but I could SEE your fingerprints on page 5. Or how you wouldn’t let me watch the “Alice” reruns because the Lehrer Newshour was on at the same time, but I KNEW you weren’t really interested in the news you were just sore because I had gotten BINGO twice and had won that seven-foot pink styrofoam “Red Baron” Snoopy statue at the church charity bazaar (and I’ll never believe for a second that it was the neighbors’ kids who broke of the red scarf part). And you PUT my favorite Generation Eb behind that cushion of the couch when you new I was about to find out how you had taken it and then you PRETENDED you didn’t even know what I was talking about and ACTED like you hadn’t taken it in the first place, but for the whole TWO MONTHS I knew that you had STOLEN it and hidden it!
Did you ever watch “Ice Strom,” by any chance? The scene where they are lying in bed afterwards and he starts talking about his colleague and his golf handicap, and she listens to it for a bit and then says to him “I already have a husband.” Hehehe.
