Hey all!
After 3 months of boot camp, a month of Marine Combat Training, I’m not at my A School where I get to use cool new inventins like the internet and maybe a tin whistle or a flute…(as I dont have uilleann pipes anymore). Just thought I’d say hi!
If anyone is in the Monterey,CA area…I’ll be here for something like 16-24 months.

Welcome back and glad you’re safe!!. We were getting a mite worried here in Europe for a moment that those retro religious conservative types were going to have a go at leading the US into the absyss. We can breathe out now.

Congratulations on your acceptance to the language school. Study hard and do us all proud. Having served onboard a nuclear armed flagship accompanied by 500 stir-crazy jarheads, I must observe that you will be much happier polishing your tunes than your brass and boots.
Some of my friends who are the most dedicated pacifists are former Marines. My friend, the DI always said he much preferred live Marines to dead heroes. . . .
