My prolonged vacation in sunny Iraq is now over. I am on my own
computer, in my own home surrounded by family and friends. Life just
doesn’t get much better!
Welcome home! ![]()
Turtle, great news and welcome home!
God bless you, man!
I’ve been thinking about you.
Best wishes,
Jerry
That’s great news! I remember how surprised I was to have someone posting on the forum from Iraq. Glad you’re home again.
That’s fantastic news. I can’t even imagine how great getting back home must be.
Well, there goes our Iraqi connection. ![]()
Seriously, I’m really glad to see you out of there safely.
Turtle, I am so glad that you are home safely.
Surely it doesn’t. Welcome back to America.
Welcome Home, Turtle!
… with thanks! I have a nephew still ‘vacationing’ there …
Judy
Very best wishes to you and appreciation on your return.
Did you know a Lt. Col. Pat Carroll from Silver Spring, Maryland? He was featured on NPR playing his uilleann pipes a couple months ago while stationed in Iraq.
Welcome back home!

How’s your whistling going?? ![]()
Glad to here you made it back safely…
Stay safe Bro.

Welcome Back! It’s good to be safe and sleeping in your own bed.
Welcome home and thanks for your service!

Now there’s Thanksgiving for you. Welcome home.
Dale
Thanks all, It’s really nice to be back. I didn’t think I would make it
home by Thanksgiving, but everything just worked out. My daughter has
relieved me of a whistle already and is learning Down by the Sally Garden,
so it looks as if I might have a partner in crime. I hope everyone has
a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a great holiday season. I know I will.
Y’all take care!
Turtle
Welcome home and, remember, if you are off active duty now, the VA is available for anything you might have acquired over there!
