Back playing pipes

After a five year or so break from piping with family and work commitments I am picking the infernal/wonderful (delete as appropriate) things up again. It feels sooooo good

Hi Sean!
Welcome back to piping!
Who made your set? On the picture they look like an Howard set.

Welcome back Sean . It’s been a while.

hi sean,
i tried to get in touch a while ago
send me a pm with your email

all the best
john

Hi all, yes my Howard half set is still playing nicely out the box.

John I’ll pm you my email but anyone can contact me via company website www.cycle-systems.co.uk

That’s fantastic! I’m not surprised about being able to play the Howard pipes right out of the box.

You used to be Busker Sean, no?

Yes I was Busker Sean, mods are reinstating the name so should be back on that handle soon

What have I missed ?

You know they got bin Laden?

! Welcome back, Sean! I think about your floating tionol often – Jim Wenham comes over here every year for a reedmaking workshop and he used to live on a barge. I’ve often wondered if you two ever ran into each other (but not literally, of course).

BALTIMORE RAVENS WIN SUPER BOWL!!!

Thanks all, nice to hear your memories of the floating tionol, Cathy.

Looks like a few new recordings to get my hands on, think I’ll start with Leo Rickards latest. Also ordered to Doran book, looks great.

Ok I got the old buskerSean name back, historical rather than accurate but hopefully helps folks connect the dots?
