The Strawbs wrote “Thank You”
We thank you for the wind and rain
The sunshine and the flowers
We thank you for the moon and stars
The minutes and the hours
We live each day as best we can
And wake up with new friends
For when the nights have turned around
The days begin again.

Wow, Strawbs! I hadn’t thought about them in years. Thanks for that blast from the past and memory of one of my favorite groups back then!

And, yes, Dale, you may quote me, although I’m an unlikely, um, source.
Amen to all. Great place. Source of many friendly aquaintances, no true enemies, and a few true friends. Hard to do much better than that.
Plus, if I flunk out of grad school, it will be because of all of you.

And that’s the best thing of all. A ready made scapegoat!
