and then there’s the Ludwig von Drake stuff.

I wish there were cartoons like these still being made. Most of the stuff kids watch now are a complete waste.

 You must be!!! That is hilarious!

It came up here because I was sitting in the living room with the kids, and the two littlest ones said ā€œMommy! Look at us!ā€ and then started ā€œsingingā€ the tune, and then yelling ā€œBUMP, BUMPā€ as they bumped their bottoms together like they do in the show. I don’t think they’d ever seen it, but the oldest Izzlets definitely had, and apparently they had been singing it when they were cleaning up yesterday. It was a fun time

I wish there were too!

At some point, we obtained a bunch of LIttle Audrey cartoons on VHS when the biggest ones were little. Unfortunately, the tapes are long gone..we played them out. But this was one of our favorite ones in the bunch:

I played it for Christopher and Terrence, and they still remember it. We’ll probably be singing ā€œYou’ve got the tummy ache bluesā€ all day

  My granddaughter has this Little Audrey on a disk of old cartoons. She loves it.

She has several old cartoon disks and watches them more than any of the modern stuff.
Felix the Cat ones are the most watched.

Felix the Cat was the business. I still play his theme tune: Felix keeps on walking, keeps on walking still…

We didn’t have Felix videos, unfortunately. They would have loved those too. I should find some…it’s better than the garbage that’s on the telly these days, that’s for sure.
