Hoover whistle clearance sale

Mack Hoover is having a Fall clearance sale on some over and unusual stock whistles. He has a variety of prototype and one-of-a-kind instruments listed on his site. A few whistles he is gifting to people who play in church. If you’re too late to pick up one of these sale whistles you should at least take a look at his sale page. The variety and mix of materials is really interesting – including some prototype wooden models. Mack’s sale page:

Incidentally, I’m not affiliated with Mack. I just love the sweet sound of his whistles.

In view of the recent flap over commercial postings, I want to highlight Gary’s statement that Mack had nothing to do with this thread. He notified past customers in e-mail only, and the decision of another member to start this thread should not be considered in any way a commercial post by Mack Hoover himself.

To reinforce the previous comment – it’s my impression that most of the whistles on Mack’s page are already spoken for. Several I inquired about were unavailable just two hours after I received the email. What I really wanted to point out was the fascinating variety of whistles pictured. Up until today I had been aware only of Mack’s brass and CPVC models. I thought others might find the whistles equally as interesting, especially folks who already fancy his work.
