My Hoover whistles are among my favorites. This particular whistle has a very sweet tone and has excellent playability over its 2+ octaves, with no surprises. It is not a loud whistle, but cannot be considered as representative of the quiet instruments that Mack can produce. It is very much a ‘middle/normal’ volume instrument.
