New Hoover Whitecap (non-production) hi D. $50 including shipping & ins in the U.S. Nice whistle but I’m just not playing it so want to find it a good home.
For those unfamiliar with Mack’s Whitecap, it’s a brass whistle with a CPVC head, good volume (louder than his other whistles), excellent tone and very low air requirements. Its only real flaw is a sharp c-nat using oxxooo. I’ve put the head on a nickel Clare tube and fixed that little problem and it plays excellent and is in good tune. I’ll include the Clare tube along with the original Hoover brass tube.
