Had an e-mail from The Chieftains management team asking would our humble club be interested in playing with them at their up and coming gig at Cardiff. So after telling the club and getting a massive oh my god !! Yes please , get an email to say services no longer required. How gutting is that !! Nevermind , at least we were thought of. Mei
Don’t feel too bad, Mei. Asking locals to come up on stage with them for a bit at gigs has long been part of the Chieftains’ standard operating procedure. It’s a nice touch to be sure, but not particularly exclusive. There must be thousands of people in the world by now who have “played with the Chieftains”. Or not. 
I wonder why they changed their plan with your club, though.
Yep , read on here that loads have played. It would have been great but such is life. The management team said they were going with something different. Never mind , damn the world of showbiz
