Help with identifying whistle

Hey Chiffers!

Saw a brass whistle this past weekend at an antique show and am looking for some assistance in identifying the name of the maker.

Here’s what I saw:

*All brass
*Six holes
*Stamped with a “c”
*Appeared to have a “soft” fipple - such as wood (could not tell from the amount of oxidized “goo” from the brass cleaner in the wind way)
*Stamped with a raised (embossed?) “medallion” that read “All The Best British” (similar image at the beginning of the famous Chiff & Fipple’s “Guide to Inexpensive Whistles”)

*Could not produce sound other than air
*Vendor offered that its age was about 100 years old
*Special price: US$118.00

WHOA was in remission and I did not purchase the whistle.

While there is no material prize for identifying the whistle, you will have earned my undying devotion and respect!

Regards,

Sounds like an Irish tin penny whistle made of brass.
