Help identify flute

Can anyone help to identify this 5-key (no long F) flute? Grenadilla on the conical left & right hand pieces, possibly silver-plated headjoint & slide section (I suppose you could call it a barrel), ebonite high-wave embouchure. Numbered on the bottom of each wood piece (16449), but no maker’s mark. Reminds me of the description of a Eugene Lambe flute made for export (although the numbering doesn’t make sense), does anyone have photos to compare? Plays really well and seems in tune. Photos are at http://www.worldtrad.org/flute.htm .

Thanks,

Kevin Krell

Kevin, I remember seeing one that looked a lot like the flute you pictured on Ebay recently. I have never tried, but you may be able to find out more about it by going through their completed sales. It was very recent, so you may be able to find something out.
