I’ve heard of Rose of Sharron (or perhaps Shannon/Shandon). Might that be it?

Yeah that’s probably it. Any idea on where I could find it?
Doc
See if this is it: http://www.missourifiddling.com/Music/RoseofAvonmore.htm
Here’s the Google search results page with more choices.

This could be “I Am the Rose of Sharon”, written by William Billings , a Boston composer from the late 18th century. It is very lovely.
I am the Rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys.
As the lily among the thorns,
So is my love among the daughters
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood,
So is my beloved among the sons.
Can’t help with finding the music..I have it on a recording by the Toronto Chamber Choir.
I have a dulcimer book of Paul van Arsdale’s tunes. There’s a jig called Rose of Sharon in it. I don’t have a functioning scanner though.
