I just received my first practice set. I’ve been practicing whole notes..D..E..f# etc. Should I get a teacher, or video or a book? I live in Rhode Island , one hour from Boston, 3 hours from New York, not far from Connecticut. I have the Spillane tutor, but that’s mostly a nice collection of tunes with a fingering chart.
A lot of time was spent gathering information just for folks like you.

Patrick is an intense instructor, you’ll like him if you want to ‘get it right’. Excellent instructor.
You can’t beat personal 1 2 1 tuition to continue to monitor, check and improve your progress. Books,CD’s and DVD’s are great in their own right but at best can only complement the personal touch(IMHO
).
Go get 'em ![]()
Thanks for the info. brian
