Got my first Clarkes. *glee*

I got a C and a D clarke today.

They have NO back pressure at all, and this ultimately leads to (on the D) using WAY more air to in the third register, and way way less in the lowest.

I love their tone, but they could use some more volume.

(Of course, anything seems quiet after you get done playing Clarinet and Fife…)

They are my new children. ^-^

So, I read someone on here saying to pour wax around the edge of the whistle to cut down on lost air.

It stopped making noise altogether.

Thank goodness for toothpicks!
