Hi friends, I’ve been learnin’ lots the last few months from all of the posts here. Thanks for the lessons. OUT here in West Texas, the only whistle you can find at a music store is a REFEREE’s whistle. We’re big on Football, I guess… Anyway, I had just started playing a couple of months, when STAN, a wonderful tutor/mentor, found me. He offered to share and now I’m gaining on it! It is so much more fun when you can share the music. I started out on one of Thom’s tweaked Clarkes and from out of the blue, I was blessed with a Copeland D that I’ve liked each day more & more. I’m taking my daughter to school in Denver this week and wondered if anyone knows a place(s) a fellow could go and at least LOOK at and/or HEAR a REAL whistle or two. We’ll be in the Cherry Creek area and also close to the Capitol bldg on Lincoln til the 28th. Any help would be appreciated… Thanks, Mike
