It’s finally happened; I believe I’m cured and now own every whistle I need, want, desire, can possibly play. This with much bartering, selling, buying and with the most recent additions of a new TW Bflat from Glen (a gorgeous honduran rosewood)and a wonderful Copeland Low D formerly owned by one of our members. I therefore challenge anyone to entice me with some other whistle that I don’t already have that I’d actually want. Oh, er, for those who have me on their waiting lists, those are counted among the whistles I already have. And, um, if anyone wants to get rid of an older Copeland Bflat…well those are the only exceptions. I’m set…honestly…Philo
I’m almost in your boat. I just received a TW C in macassar ebony from Glenn (TODAY), expect a Silkstone from a listmember early next week, and two Sindts straight from John late this summer. That’s it, at least for awhile.

Have you tried one of Brewer Paul’s? They’re quite similar to Weasels; mine is absolutely gorgeous, and the paint doesn’t begin peeling when I play in the upper range. ![]()

You really shouldn’t challenge me like that you know Phil…
Gee, and I just found a Walton’s mellow D here in Rapid City, too! Of course, I bought it!
Oh no you don’t!!! Somewhere out there is one you don’t have and will need — WHOA— is insidious — it can lay dormant for years – then strike without warning.

Someone’s in denial!! ![]()
I should say most definetly so!!
I always say “ok. That’s it; I won’t be needing another whistle- I have all the ones I want.” Then WHAMMO! Whoa strikes again!!
I’d say be prepared Phil… It’s probably the “calm before the storm.”
For $3 you have to get a MEG (maybe two).
Joe
I AM DEFINITELY NOT IN DENIAL! NO WAY… NOT ME…NEVER
